Other Ways You Can Help
If you have a need or know of someone or an organization that has a need, contact us right away. We want to help! Send us their contact information and a little bit about them so that we can arrange for a Bag of Love to be delivered directly to them.
We can always use a helping hand to pickup material donations and help with the distribution of those donations throughout the community. Feel free to contact us via email or phone if you or anyone else is interested in being a part of RWD
Monetary donations are needed to expand our giving efforts. We also accept new and gently used blankets, hats, and gloves and personal toiletries are a great compliment to add to our Bags of Love. Contact us for more information.
Become a partner! We rely on the community for the the bulk of items that are placed in our Bags of Love.
We would be glad to call you a Friend of RWD.
To honor the legacy of Regina Bess by keeping the hands, feet, heads and hearts of the less fortunate, warm throughout the upcoming winter months.
The Smallest Bit Makes an Impact
Our Bags of Love campaign started out with only 30 blankets donated for Regina’s 90th birthday in 2017. With the help of community, friends, and family, we gradually accumulated more items, adding hats, gloves, socks, and toiletries to our ever-growing inventory of winter items. It’s exactly what Regina would have done! And we are doing just that!
Make A Real Change In Someone’s Life
Since 2017, we have distributed over 1600 Bags of Love throughout our community, to men, women and children in need. Local men’s and women’s shelters, church groups, school kids and individuals have been blessed by RWD. We’ve also delivered Bags of Love to Home Health Aids who continue to care for people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
